We are so happy we have an opportunity to help George find a home! He is a German Shepherd puppy who has already traveled the highway 29 corridor several times. He is now in a foster home and is learning crate training, housetraining, living with adult dogs, and how to be a good boy in general. We look forward to caring for baby George and helping him find a home when he is a couple weeks older!

Because we prefer that George be six months of age before he is neutered, and state law is strict about placement of animals not spayed or neutered, we are considering ONLY homes within the local adoption area, including Lynchburg City, Campbell County, or counties touching Campbell County. We might consider an adoption outside this local area if the applicant has a sterling vet reference already in place, but we will not consider first time adopters outside our local areas. If your children are over the age of five, George would like to meet them!
