Hound / Mixed (short coat) : : Male : : Adult : : Medium
RIPLEY arrived at the shelter months ago, and won the heart of one of our younger volunteers and RIPLEY has become an integral part of the lives of his foster family. Although Ripley is partially blind due to cataracts, he loves to take long walks and long naps (he doesn’t think being blind is a problem!). Ripley may look like just another ordinary hound, but he really is the perfect dog. He is housetrained, crate trained, loves to snuggle (he has very soft fur!), go for rides in the car, and hiking. He gets along with all other animals, LOVES kids, is good on a leash, and rarely barks. He is what I refer to as low maintenance. As long as he has food, a nice soft bed, a few chew toys, a daily walk, and a little bit of affection he is very happy. If you are looking for a new friend in your life, please fill out an application at: www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
Is this 42 pounder, six to eight years old, a dog who might be a good friend for you?
