JOIN THE "Ace Brigade!" Help us find him a home by promoting pibbles and especially ACE! The Ace Brigade is a team of folks who are determined to help him have the best home possible, and to help him be happy and content while he is still at the shelter! Email us if you'd like to help! FOACinfo@gmail.com

ACE has been in our care for many weeks. He has regained some of his missing coat, and we see promises of more down-like coat growing. Of all the dogs at the shelter, ACE is probably the least likely to find a home. He's a black intact male pitbull with some health issues from his skin. Yet he is lively and enjoys time with humans and outside playtime in the yard. We'd love knowing that someone somewhere might be interested in rehabbing ACE! Best bet for this boy is as an only dog, and a family familiar with bully breeds. FOAC will cover vetting costs for the right adopter! Please, please SHARE and if you are interested in a dog with problems, contact Barbe by TEXT only at 434.851.2598.

ACE , sweet, middle aged man about town,  is easy to walk on a leash, not neutered, and appears to be fine with other dogs. He is delightfully housetrained, and is not a fan of the snow or cold! He does his business and heads straight back inside if it's too cold. However, warm up the air temps a bit, and he enjoys playing in the snow like a bulldozer! He told us he'd love to have his family come back to find him, as he's a bit lonely at the shelter. ACE enjoys playtime with other dogs, and would dearly love to have someone take him to the vet to get his skin cleared up from its baldness. His new family would be the perfect ones to do that!
