I adore this boy who is just waiting for a chance to go to a home. He is about 2 years old, and is the spitting image of my own dog, Lilly, who was rescued from this same shelter a few years ago. It appears that Ballou has been around children, because when he heard them playing on the playground next to the pound, he sat and watched without barking or excitement. It was like he was right at home. (He was found in a neighborhood where there is an elementary school, so perhaps he did feel very much at home.)
