Benii, 8 weeks old, was given up to the pound by his family because--are you ready for this?--at 8 weeks, he had not housetrained himself! Oh, my! I guess they did not realize ahead of time that baby puppies can only "hold it" for an hour per month of age. I am afraid that Benji was taken from his litter much too early because he has horrible social skills when playing with the other little puppy with whom he shares a kennel run. His best placement will be in a household where there is another very savvy adult dog who will teach him to play nicely and will correct him if needed, as well as with a family willing to work with a dog trainer to help him overcome his little puppy attitude. We can recommend the best trainer for this type of puppy! Email us!
