About Blue Baron: adopted

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Gray
  • Housetrained: Yes
Blue Baron is one of our favorites. He is a wonderful example of the love and care that you can expect from a gentle, sweet pit bull, and is a great representative of the breed. He is one of those dogs you will do absoluteley whatever you can to try to rehome. His background is unknown, but because of the condition of his teeth, we can surmise he was either chained or penned for most of his life. . Baron appears to be five to seven years old. Teeth are worn and he is not muscular but he loves humans and seems to basically ignore other dogs. He adores going out for long walks with our volunteers and he is happy to have all kinds of attention. He is putting on a few pounds, now, and it suits him very well! Baron seems to get along well with other dogs, and is extremely kind to babies, as you can see from his photos. He finally found his voice after three weeks of shelter life, and greeted us every morning with a "woof!" of happiness, hoping for attention and hugs as the days went on. He found a most wonderful home where there is a chihuahua in residence, and he has made super friends with the chi. But his new mom is headed back to college this summer and needs to rehome him so her mother won't have to take on the dog care responsibilities. He is housetrained, prefers house to outside, and needs a loving familiy. Contact our volunteers at info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org to adopt!
