About Fuschia: transferred

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Black
Fuschia is now in a foster home and not at the county pound. Please email us to find out about adoption: info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Fuschia and her sister and brother were given up to the county pound on Friday, 3/2. We were told they are eight weeks old but they are very immature and unsure of themselves and are not acting like 8 week old puppies at all, so I would think they are closer to 6 weeks. They are eating crunchy puppy chow and maklng the adjustment to pound puppies, but of course, being in the pound is much tougher than being in a home with a momma dog to care for you. They have been given the first in their seriies of three puppy vaccines, and have been dewormed. What they need now is a home! Please note that puppy adoptions directly from the county facility are limited to citizens from counties touching Campbell County, Campbell County itself, or the city of Lynchburg. Other folks may adopt, but must go through Friends of Animal Control or another local rescue group. For more information on how to adopt, sponsor, or donate to help the animals at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility, please go to www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. See our wish list of needed supplies, and find out how you can help! Friends of Animal Control's mission is to aid animals in Campbell County. Your tax-exempt donations to Harmony Rescue: Friends of Animal Control, go directly to the animals.

Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
