Chuck had a bout with parvovirus but is making a great recovery now. He just came home from five days at the vet and is picking at his food like a baby bird sampling a live worm for the first time. Chuck is barely four months old, and those legs of his go on forever! We think he is a shepherd/Great Dane mix! He is going to need to put on a lot of weight before he gets back to her pre-illness appearance. He is great with other dogs, loves to be with his human, and is working on his housetraining skills. The vet techs at the office where he was treated all told us how much he appealed to them, but none could take home another puppy at this time. Watch for updates on Chuck's progress! We are accepting applications at this time for his new home, although he won't be ready to leave for a couple more weeks.
