I absolutely love having foster families write their own descriptions for our fostered dogs, and when they write ones like this, I about hit the floor mirthfully enjoying every word: "Laughing.......she is so stinking cute! Tally Ho fit in seamlessly with the critter family when we got her home. My cat is even defrosting her attitude towards her. She has gained a lot of confidence yesterday being home with Paul [foster dad.] Today she is playing with my big dogs outside while I supervise. What a love. I have to teach [riding] lessons this morning then she will be helping me with chores. I am watching her food and water intake. She is very BAR [bright, alert, responsive] but i would like her to drink more. Thanks a ton!" A word of explanation is needed here. Tally Ho's brother died of parvovirus, after contracting it from an unknown source; Tally Ho has been exposed to the virus now, and we need to quarantine her from other unvaccinated pets until we know for sure she is also going to become ill. She will be available for adoption on June 6, and no earlier. This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility.
