Foxhound (short coat) : : Female : : Young : : Large
Betsy is a gorgeous fox hound who came to the CCAC as a stray. She loves other dogs, both males and females, and gets along well with children, in true hound fashion.. She is very alert to what is going on around her, and she loves to get out, sniff the air, and tell us she prefers being anywhere to the pound. She is about 9 or 10 months old, and is healthy. We are always surprised to get a happy, healthy girl hound in, because many times the stray hounds are ones who have been on their own for a few weeks. Betsy is about 40 pounds, and is a nice looking size. She would be a fun companion for a family with chiidren.
