American Shorthair (short coat) : : Female : : Adult : : Medium
Vesta was surrendered to our animal control folks by her owners. Just three days later, Vesta surprised us all by giving birth to three beautiful babies! We were so lucky to find a foster caregiver for her! Her foster mom tells us that despite being a new mom, Vesta is hooked on humans and runs to greet her when she gets home from work. Vest will be available approximately June 4 for adoption. However, you may apply to adopt her now.
This cat is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. For an application to adopt, go to www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org or email us at info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org. The policy for adoption requires that you live in Lynchburg City, Campbell County, or a county touching Campbell County, if the cat has not yet been sterilized. If you live outside this area, the cat must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens who are too young to be sterilized may be adopted out through a local rescue, Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org
Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
