About King: Master of All

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Brown/Chocolate
Rustburg, VA: Meet "King," an eight year old German Shepherd whose family's failing health means they are needing to rehome their two boys. King and his buddy Rambo are both intact, but do well with the other dogs whom they meet. Because King tends to leave the property when he sees other dogs and wants to follow them, he has to be contained, so a fenced yard would be ideal for him. He is a polite, gentle boy inside his 100 pounds of dog body, and he is one of those shepherds who is a leaner and a lover. I felt very confident that he would be respectful of my space when I initially met him, and although I was a total stranger, he was quite receptive to handling. His coat is thick and he looks rough right now, but a groom and a thorough brushing would make him feel and look so much more handsome! He was happy being massaged and scratched and didn't want us to leave. Please text me at 434.851-2598, so we can get King a home and relieve one source of his family's duress right now! This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. For an application to adopt, go to www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
