About Rambo: Rarin' to go!

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Black
Rustburg, VA: "Rambo" is three to four years old, and one of those German Shepherds who makes my heart stop when I meet them because of their pure beauty and form. (I tend to wax poetic when it comes to this breed.) Rambo is looking for a new home because his family's health has taken a turn for the worse, and they can no longer care for him properly. He is a BIG boy, long-legged but not overweight. He has had a companion, King, for most of his life, and they do well together, as well as with other dogs. Rambo's family has done little training with him, and he is a tad bit handshy when I went to meet him, although was more receptive to me touching him when I was also handling his buddy, King. Rambo is very devoted to his daddy and didn't want to leave his side. Such devotion is wonderful to see in this beautiful breed, and is a sign that Rambo's dad earned his trust. Please contact us by email, info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org, or by pm, if you wish to find out more about Rambo. You may also text me at 434.851-2598. I have the feeling there is some urgency in this request for help from the family. This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility.
