About Candace

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Merle
  • Housetrained: Yes
New to the Campbell County Animal Control Facility is CANDACE, a nine-month Australian Cattle dog who was surrendered because she barks all night. She is a super-good farm dog, except for the barking. She is very submissive and quite a doll baby! She is nervous at the shelter because of all the barking, but once outside, she warms right up and relaxes. UPDATE: Miss Candice is now in foster care and has settled right in at her foster home. She is a 9 month old, Blue Heeler who decided that she would much rather live the life of luxury than be a working girl!! She loves to snuggle on the couch, watch movies and lounge in the bed. Candice still does her daily workout...a run around the yard with the 2 canines that are sharing their house with her! Candice ADORES children, young and older! She likes other dogs and does not mind cats. She also loves to ride in the car!!!! Candice is housetrained and current on her vaccines. Interested in making Candice part of your family? UPDATE 9/21/13: From Candice's foster Mom: Candice weighs 25 lbs and she does not bark anymore because she is inside where she wants to be. She wants to be a housedog and not kept outside. She goes out to potty, plays with my dogs and is ready to come back in after 5 mins. She is also a lapdog!!!! -------------------------- This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility.
