About Barbie

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Black
  • Housetrained: Yes
BARBIE came to us from her family a few days ago, so we know this 40 pound four-year old has lived with cats, another dog, and kids. She is suffering mightily from a flea problem, so we are helping her deal with infected skin right now. She is available immediately for adoption! The first order of business was a Capstar to kill the living fleas, then a soothing oatmeal bath, and today we begin antibiotics and anti-itch meds. Sweet girl--great size for apartments and smaller living spaces! UPDATE: We discovered that BARBIE absolutely loves kids! She is recovering nicely from a skin infection from flea problems thanks to antibiotic and soothing oatmeal baths. She is four years old, spayed, and housetrained. She is the perfect size for folks who love lab personalities but don't want to feel overwhelmed by the "largeness" of the purebred lab breed. Interested? This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. For an application to adopt, go to www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
