We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

GUS, is three to four years old, is neutered, up to date with his annual vaccinations, HW tested, and is now enjoying a life of luxury in the home of a foster family. He loves having a fenced yard where he can lounge outside in the sun and keep a close eye on the wildlife around him. To adopt, please fill out an application at www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org UPDATE from foster mom 2/26/14: "Gus has become even more wonderful. He allows my Westie to rule the roost without any confrontation. He pays no attention to the cats but he will not allow the kitten to snuggle with him as he does the dog. He enjoys the pack but is very devoted to me. He greets everyone he meets with a wag. He now readily goes to his crate and he knows the routine. He stays in the house with the family instead of retreating outside and he now rides very well in the vehicle. He loves going for walks, loves his toys, and plays a little and is great around my daughter. He is very people oriented and learns quickly." Then the foster added, "He has turned out to be a WONDERFUL dog, and whoever adopts him will not be disappointed!" This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
