This is RILEY, adopted three weeks ago from the Lynchburg Humane Society. Riley is two to three years old, super good with other dogs, neutered and housetrained. Riley loves kids, but is horrible with cats, it seems. At his new home, he chased and yes, killed, a feral cat that had come into his yard. Riley was signed over immediately to Campbell County Animal Control. RILEY is frantic to be in a loving home. He loved getting out of the run and going for a walk, spending time in the office and just generally being loved. RILEY needs a home quick--can you help him out? The folks at LHS who know Riley stated he was a favorite of the volunteers as well as staff, and surely deserved better than this! Call the facility at 434.821.4416 to give Riley the excellent home he deserves. Dogs and puppies who are not spayed/neutered may be adopted directly to residents of Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or counties touching Campbell County. If you live outside this area, arrangements will need to be made through FOAC to spay/neuter the pet prior to placement in a new home. Puppies may be too young for the required spay/neuter; special arrangements may sometimes be made for adoptions outside the area in these cases.
