Janus came in as a stray with her pal, Dallas, to the Campbell County Animal Control Facility on Tuesday from the middle of highway 29 near Marysville Road. She is spayed and is very healthy. She appears to have been an indoor dog. She has a beautiful brindle colored coat and looks like a Golden Retriever mix. She walks like a true lady on a leash and has become a favorite of the volunteers already! If not reclaimed, Janus will be available for adoption soon. Dogs and puppies who are not spayed/neutered may be adopted directly to residents of Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or counties touching Campbell County. If you live outside this area, arrangements will need to be made through FOAC to spay/neuter the pet prior to placement in a new home. Puppies may be too young for the required spay/neuter; special arrangements may sometimes be made for adoptions outside the area in these cases.
