We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

VALENTINO must have have heard the song about "reaching out and touching" because he loves giving visitors the personal touch, massages, and neck rubs! If you are feeling sad and lonely, head on over to Campbell County Animal Control and get a free massage from the best looking fella in the cat room! He is a gentle boy about six months old. Check out our FOAC CATS Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/FOACCATS As a note it is recommended that kittens under 12 weeks be adopted in pairs as they are very social creatures and need a friend or sibling to prevent behavior issues and loneliness. To adopt this cat, please contact the Campbell County Animal Control Facility at 434-821-4416, or email us at foaccats@hotmail.com. The policy for adoption requires that you live in Lynchburg City, Campbell County, or a county touching Campbell County, if the cat has not yet been sterilized. If you live outside this area, the cat must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens who are too young to be sterilized may be adopted out through a local rescue, Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org.

Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
