About Lady

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Brown/Chocolate
Lady was surrendered by her owner because of "leaking" problems. She is a senior lady and will be checked out by the vet immediately. She is adorable and friendly and desperately wants a home who loves the seniors. UPDATE 3/10/14: What an interesting little girl is LADY! Ten years old, supposed to be a Jack Russell, but acts like an Australian Cattle dog, herding the dogs in the yard at her foster home with Harmony Rescue, Inc. LADY is spayed, and very alert to all that is gong on around her. UPDATE 3/12/14: Lady was given up by her owner last week because she "leaks" urine on a continual basis. We figured it was an infection of sorts, but this little bundle of energy wouldn't pause to give up a catchable urine specimen. Many thanks to veterinarian Tom Nelson at Animal Medical Center, and to LADY's foster, Cindy Schott with Harmony Rescue, Inc. for their persistence today in getting her to yield a sample. We discovered she does have a bladder infection and are treating it to see if that will solve her problems. She is a 10 year old gal, spayed, and seems to enjoy herding other dogs. This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. We always begin with an application to adopt, and this will be forwarded to the foster family for review. You can find this on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Specific questions are most easily answered by email, info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org, or by TEXTING or leaving a voicemail for one of our volunteers at 434-485-6242.
