Umbra (right) and Arctus (left) are precious kittens who came in as strays. They were treated to love and socializing by an awesome little girl volunteer today and have been favorites of all the volunteers since they came in. They were not very socialized upon arrival, but now are quite the social butterflies. UPDATE 3/14/14: Arctus has been adopted!! His brother, Umbra, still needs a home. To adopt this cat, please contact the Campbell County Animal Control Facility at 434-821-4416, or email us at info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org. The policy for adoption requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County, if the cat has not yet been sterilized. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility. If you live outside this area, the cat must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this. Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
