American Shorthair : : Male : : Adult : : Medium
Meet Grayson! A beautiful cat with the softest fur and ready for a new home. He is about 2 years old and neutered and declawed. He has developed a sore ear due to ear mites but is on medication to correct that problem though his ear is still quite swollen from scratching. We are collecting a fund for cosmetic surgery so he will once again be as handsome as ever. Even though he has this issue, he is still a very pleasant fellow through it all and not shy to tell you about how wonderful he is. He is even fine with walking on a leash!
To adopt this cat, please contact the Campbell County Animal Control Facility at 434-821-4416, or email us at info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
The policy for adoption requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County, if the cat has not yet been sterilized. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age.
If you live outside this area, the cat must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this.
