4/26/14 Transferred to rescue in NJ.
Harleym came in as a stray. He is about 8 months old and was found at some local dumpsters. He is very, very sweet! He is great with kids and fantastic on a leash. He has wonderful social skills with other dogs too. We believe he may even be housetrained because he keeps his kennel area spotless. He is one that could easily be a diamond in the rough. He is in a plain wrapper but please take the time to open this package because you won't be disappointed with what you find. Unfortunately, he is now on the URGENT list due to the shelter being full, so please don't hesitate to come out to meet this great dog.
Dogs and puppies at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility who are not spayed/neutered may be adopted directly only to residents of Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or counties touching Campbell County. If you live outside this area, arrangements will need to be made through FOAC to spay/neuter the pet prior to placement in a new home. Puppies may be too young for the required spay/neuter; special arrangements may sometimes be made for adoptions outside the area in these cases.
