4/26/14 Transferred to rescue in NJ. Grant came to the facility as a stray. He is a 2 to 4 year old something with a "lion cut." He likes to get out and run around, and is wearing a nice, expensive plaid collar! Intact male, very sweet with other dogs and he loves kids! If not reclaimed, he will be available for adoption soon. Dogs and puppies at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility who are not spayed/neutered may be adopted directly only to residents of Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or counties touching Campbell County. If you live outside this area, arrangements will need to be made through FOAC to spay/neuter the pet prior to placement in a new home. Puppies may be too young for the required spay/neuter; special arrangements may sometimes be made for adoptions outside the area in these cases. This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. We always begin with an application to adopt, and this will be forwarded to the foster family for review.
