Gigi and 6 siblings were found as strays. They are 6 weeks old and all are absolutely beyond cute! There are both male and female puppies and we are accepting applications now. The puppies will stay in our care until they are 8 weeks old and ready to be on their own. UPDATE: Gigi was diagnosed with parvovirus: She is now bouncing around, jumping up and down in her little cage at the vet office where she spends the day with her foster mom who works there. She is no longer vomiting and her stools are firming up. Progress comes in stages and baby steps. We thought these puppies were beagle/pibble puppies, but at eight weeks, Gigi weighs only 3.9 pounds, so now we are thinking smallish to medium sized adults! These puppies who are too young to spayed/neutered yet, may be adopted directly ONLY to residents of Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or counties touching Campbell County. If you live outside this area, the adopter must have a vet reference which shows that all other pets have annual exams, HW testing and are spay/neutered. No exceptions. This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. We always begin with an application to adopt, and this will be forwarded to the foster family for review.
