We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

Nine months old, super friendly, and excited to be in a new foster home!! GIZZIE came to us with his mother Pepper! He loves kids and does well with other dogs! He is feeling so handsome with his freshly groomed self! He will be neutered on May 24th. UPDATE from Foster Mom:"Having had Pepper and Gizzie for a week, I have a better idea of their needs now. They are much more social with people now. They can bark excessively for attention at times when we are in the middle of something and I can't provide it. Gizzie will have times when he jump ups on people repeatedly seeking attention. Both are fairly needy for physical touch. Yet I'm not sure either would handle being the only dog in a household very well, especially for 8-9 hours at a time. Adopters need to be aware that Gizzie is not full shih tzu and larger than most of that breed. He does behave a lot like one though. The dogs got through the gate yesterday but neither tried to run away - they just stayed by us. Both will watch the cats, chickens and ducks but show no interest in chasing them." This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. We always begin with an application to adopt, and this will be forwarded to the foster family for review.
