Reclaimed by her original owner. She had been stolen from their yard when she was only 5 mos. New resident today (6/27), dropped off by her family though we can't understand why. BELLE is 1-1/2 years old. She is gentle with everyone she has met. She is great on a leash and has been good with other dogs she's met. She is scared to death being at Campbell County Animal Control but we are so happy that she is there with US where we can take good care of her and find her an appropriate home. BELLE is a squatty dog who is only knee high. Just like the teapot, "short and stout!" 50 pounds, and adorable with the pale blue brindle coat you are dying to have live with you! The policy for adopting an unsterilized pet requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age. If you live outside this area, the pet must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens or puppies too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this.
