Otis came in as a stray. This handsome Hooch-looking boy is a Mastiff/boxer something, about two years old weighing 50 pounds. He is sweet as can be, and his tail is chopped off ultra short, and he has some problems with his lower jaw. But still a lovely boy who sits waiting for us to come get him out, and enjoys a good walk! He walks perfectly on a leash!! Good with everyone he meets.
The policy for adopting an unsterilized pet requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age. If you live outside this area, the pet must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens or puppies too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this.

Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
