White female cat J9 (J-NINE) is ready for her new home, as she was just signed over to Animal Control on Friday. What a gorgeous girl! She is basically a low-maintenence cat, about 2 years old, who would probably love to be outside mousing instead of stuck in a cat cage waiting for the right family while the world passes her by! To adopt this cat, please contact the Campbell County Animal Control Facility at 434-821-4416, or email us at info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Applications are required to adopt. Go to www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org The policy for adoption requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County, if the cat has not yet been sterilized. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age. If you live outside this area, the cat must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this.
