from Foster Mom on 10/8/14: So far, great dog. Knows Sit already and really, really wants to please. Stays with me when we're walking, but tomorrow we'll go for a longer walk, so we'll see how that goes. Hates his crate, but until I know he won't destroy my house when I'm at work, we have to use it. Very vocal about his dislike of the crate, but from what I can tell, as soon as I've left the house, he settles down and when I come back (before he knows I'm back) he's quiet and resting. No accidents in the house yet. Follows me everywhere- like literally, walks on my heals ;) . No issues with me taking food or toys from him. Very sweet. I can't get over how much he wants to please and how well he listens. Will make a great dog. Rides in the car well and is sleeping in the x-pen next to my bed right now. Likes bones. Likes to snuggle on the couch. Someone will be lucky to add him to their family. He's a gem. He sleeps in and doesn't get up until you're up (really, this should be #1). 3. He will entertain himself with toys, kongs, and naps while you work around the house. 4. He will behave like you are the sun, moon and stars and boost your self-confidence by 5000%. This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
