Pekingese / Beagle / Mixed : : Female : : Senior : : Medium Learn more about the Pekingese. Learn more about the Beagle.
KAYE is still wishing for her family to come and reclaim her, after more than a week at the shelter. She is an older gal who appears to be spayed. She loves getting out of the shelter for quick ball throwing games, walks, and playtime, and just lays gazing out the door when no one is there with a leash. She is fine with the kids we've brought around. She does appear to have eye issues with her right eye, and that could be the cause of her not wanting other dogs around.
UPDATE: Check out KAYE, a Pekingese mix, spayed already, not really a senior, but not the energizer bunny either. She is happier when, in typical queen of the house fashion, she is the one and only little dog, but she will tolerate other dogs. She adores playing ball!! Housetrained, and appears broken hearted that she is still at the shelter.
