Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Adult : : Large
It has been brought to our attention that this sad looking girl's name is Valerie. She was adopted from our friends at the Lynchburg Humane Society mid 2013 and has now ended up at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility through no fault of her own. She is in DANGER because she was an owner surrender and we are full! Valerie worked so hard to find her "forever" home. We are just heartbroken at the betrayal in her eyes!
The policy for adopting an unsterilized pet requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age. If you live outside this area, the pet must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens or puppies too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this.
For information on adopting this animal who is in care at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility, please call there: 434.821-4416. Hours are from 12 to 5 on weekdays and 11 to 4 on Saturday. Email us at info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
A COMPLETED APPLICATION IS REQUIRED TO ADOPT. Go to www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org
