WALKER; so well-cared for, he appears to be a pet rather than a hunting dog. Loves his Kuranda bed, and is wearing a collar. He has the laid back hound personality everyone loves, but not the loud barking or baying that often keeps apartment dwellers from adopting a hound dog. He is about 3-4 years old. He is fine with other dogs and shares his Kuranda bed AND his kennel run with another sweet beagle mix. The policy for adopting an unsterilized pet requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age. If you live outside this area, the pet must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens or puppies too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this.
