We ask that the pets in your home be current with rabies vaccines, spay/neutered, and seen by a veterinarian for wellness.

Meet Biscuit! Are you missing a cutie pie lemon and white female beagle? She was found on Bear Creek Road when she made her way up the driveway to the home of a resident who has been watching her run up and down the road over the past week. The Campbell County resident couldn't bear to think of this pudgy little girl being left alone on her own with cold nasty weather approaching, so scooped her up and brought her to the facility. Biscuit is friendly and socialized, and appears to be with puppies. She is a one to two year old beagle who thinks humans are better than anything else! (Better pictures are coming!) The policy for adopting an unsterilized pet requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age. If you live outside this area, the pet must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens or puppies too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this.
