About Bianca

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Brown/Chocolate
12/9/14 Transferred to Green Dogs Unleashed-NJ. BIANCA and siblings are precious little bundles of beagles who have been treated for sarcoptic mange, a skin infection caused by parasites. The good news is that they will be considered CURED with just one more treatment! They are absolutely adorable! Their foster family has socialized them well, so that they will be ready for adoption following their third treatment. Get your application in now so you will be ready to adopt when they are. UPDATE 12/1/14: BIANCA clearly lives up to her breed expectations. She is all about a beagle! Nose to the ground, good smells galore, and she is ready to hit the road! She has been treated for sarcoptic mange and has had her final treatment, as well as two in the series of her puppy shots. This dog is in a foster home and not at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility. We always begin with an application to adopt, and this will be forwarded to the foster family for review. You can find this on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Specific questions are most easily answered by email, info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org, or by leaving a voicemail for one of our volunteers at 434-485-6242. APPLICATIONS ARE REQUIRED TO ADOPT. Go to www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org The policy for adopting an unsterilized pet requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age. If you live outside this area, the pet must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens or puppies too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this. Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
