Domestic Short Hair (short coat) : : Female : : Young : : Medium
BITSY is a 10 month old with gorgeous green eyes and a wonderful personality to go along with the looks. She was given up by her family and because she was raised with dogs, she is very adaptable to new situations. We use her to cat test the dogs we need to go to the homes where they are cats, because she is so good at helping us. She would love to come to your house to live, even if you don't have dogs.
To adopt this cat, please contact the Campbell County Animal Control Facility at 434-821-4416, or email us at info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
Applications are required to adopt. Go to www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org
The policy for adoption requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County, if the cat has not yet been sterilized. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age.
If you live outside this area, the cat must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this.
To see more animals available for adoption, please check out our Current Dandy Dogs and Cats Available For Adoption at this link:

Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
