About Levi

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Brown/Chocolate
UPDATE 1/2/15: LEVI has made huge progress! Where we were concerned about aggression issues over toys and food, we have seen him no longer feel protective and needing to keep everything to himself. He is learning to play nicely with other dogs, and to share his toys and food with his human friends. We hope that LEVI can find a home where he can continue to be monitored with social graces. UPDATE 1/24/15: LEVI came back to us after a week with his adopter (through no fault of his own). He is calm, put on some pounds, and is enjoying curling up and destressing. LEVI is about 6 or 7 months old. He is a very loving little guy and would love a home of his own. The policy for adopting an unsterilized pet requires that you live in Campbell County, Lynchburg City, or a county touching Campbell County. If you are a resident of one of these areas, you may adopt directly from the facility and spay/neuter the pet yourself within 30 days, or by the time the pet is six months of age. If you live outside this area, the pet must be spayed or neutered before you can take it home. Kittens or puppies too young for spay/neuter may be adopted through Friends of Campbell County Animal Control. We will be happy to help you make arrangements to do this. For information on adopting this animal who is in care at the Campbell County Animal Control Facility, please call there: 434.821-4416. Hours are from 12 to 5 on weekdays and 11 to 4 on Saturday. Email us at info@friendsofcampbellcounty.org. A COMPLETED APPLICATION IS REQUIRED TO ADOPT.
