Domestic Short Hair (short coat) : : Female : : Young : : Medium
Fern loves having another kitten to play with. This sweet tuxedo kitten may be shy, but once her trust is earned, she becomes the most loving kitten of all. From back scratches to chin rubs, she asks for all of it and more. Quiet as a mouse, her soft little tippie-taps and forest-green eyes are sure to steal hearts wherever she goes. Fern has blossomed from a frightened kitten into a curious one, always looking to investigate her surroundings. An extremely food motivated cat, she has been taught a few small tricks such as "Come here!", "Sit", and "Belly Flop". Her favourite treats are tiny quantities of parmesan cheese, cubed, but she will accept almost any cat-friendly reward. She possesses a keen interest in laser pointers and scratching posts, and she can be found dashing around with her other foster siblings. Although she initially isn't always sure how to feel about other cats, she warms up quickly and is happy to engage in play if they desire or just simply coexist if they prefer their space. Fern is a very quiet little girl with loads of personality just waiting for the right person. Do the rewards of earning her trust appeal to you? Schedule an appointment to meet her today!
Fern and her mom were at the shelter together for several weeks, but now it’s up to Fern to find a home since her mom was adopted earlier this week. Isn’t she a beautiful girl? She would love to have a friend to keep her company now that her mom has been adopted.
