We’d love to know Kahlua’s history! Sweet Kahlua is so friendly and gentle that we feel certain she was somebody’s beloved pet! She is terrific on a leash and that is always a pleasure for our older dog-walkers at the shelter. cold weather makes everyone freak out, and when they saw her out in a field—probably chasing rabbits?—it was thought she might be lost so she was brought to the shelter. The sad part is that her family must not even be missing her. We are glad she is warm and dry, but would really like to have her in a home with family to love her and care for her. She has been with us for seven days now, and is now officially available for adoption. are you looking for a best friend? We think she would be fabulous with children. She’s great with other dogs, great, with every volunteer that walks through, but is a little hand shy initially, which makes us wonder if someone else corrected her with a smack or two in her past. No more of that for her now however ! Only good things are ahead for our best little girl Kahlúa.
