Vica has become confident and happy now that she has had time in her foster home to become independent and not worry about other cats bothering her. She is now seeking out attention, rather than hiding from it, and she is cohabitating with another non-intrusive cat. Vica is smallish, and will stay small; she is not a big eater, and not demanding. We are thrilled that she finally will tolerate being picked up and held gently, and she has certainly learned to enjoy having her back and tail groomed and petted nicely. She does not like having her ears scratched so we avoid that at all costs! Her new home needs to have another nice cat, not one that will chase her around and give her grief for being alive. VICA has needed some adjustment time in order to develop confidence in herself, and to figure out where she fits in the great scheme of life. She did not do well with large numbers of other FosterCats around her, and is truly enjoying being of two cats now in her foster home. If you’re looking for a singleton, or maybe one quiet cat to be a friend to another one, I highly recommend Vica. She is about eight months old now, and has come so far from hiding in the corner so the other cats wouldn’t see her to now stretching out on the heating pad and soaking up as much sun as she can in the window. She is a quiet kitten, and would love a low-key household. Recommend no children, no dogs, but maybe just one quiet older person who will truly appreciate her for what she is. After spending a few weeks at the adoption center in Petsmart, Vica politely asked her foster mom if she could come back to HER house and play! She is loving all the freedom and the chance to interact with the cats and kittens there, and is really blossoming! We can't wait to try again, for a shorter amount of time, and help her find her very own FOREVER home!
