River mustered up her courage, pulled on her “big girl pants,” and went walking with a volunteer today. True she didn’t walk very far, but progress in baby steps is just as important as giant steps when it comes to shy dogs. Not knowing any of Rivers’s history or background, we get to start from scratch. We’re thinking she has never had a leash or collar to guide her, so she overcame that before she mastered the art of being coached out of the kennel run. We are proud of Miss River!
