Angel loves to play with the younger dogs at the shelter. She adores kids, and boy does she love water on a hot day. She is a special girl looking for her forever home. Is it yours?

Are you special enough to be able to handle this awesome dog? Roly-poly, pudgy-wudgy, Angel! Angel has been in a foster home in New Jersey for a couple months, but was not doing well there because of her determination to break out of her crate and go after the other dog in the household. The foster home felt it was not a good determination, and asked if we could get her back down here to work with her. Angel was good for us when she was here earlier this year, played nicely with another dog, but we know she definitely needs a meet and greet anytime she meets others. She has been stupendous with, older kids! Not just wonderful, but stupendous! She loves humans much more than she loves other dogs, and we realize this will probably make it more difficult for her to ever find a home. Surely one of you is looking for a round happy girl who wants only to be a lapdog, and be your best bud! She is currently at the Campbell County Shelter. Don’t you just love her little pouty face? We find it very appealing. - - -

It takes about two weeks for us to see the true personalities of the dogs that come into our care. It would be wonderful if we knew immediately what their quirks and cutenesses really are, but that just doesn't happen quickly. Angel has been with us long enough for us to really get to know her, and we love what we see!  We adore her devotion to the humans she meets, and we think that she will most likely be one of the most loyal little girls we have ever had in care. She runs like a bullet, and is happy to do so!  She loves adults and also loves kids. Isn't this chunky monkey cute? Spayed, housetrained, HW negative--and totally ADORABLE!
