Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Adult : : Medium
Have you visited the Adoption Center as you passed through PetsMart in Lynchburg recently? Perhaps you spotted this beauty there! This is Odessa, the last of three cats from a family who signed them over six months ago to the shelter. We were fortunate to gave a foster network who included a caregiver willing to give Odessa the adjustment time she needed to adapt to a new situation. After three months of hiding and running, she is prepared to live the “high-life” and find a forever home and family.
Our cleaners at Petsmart love her and have established a bond with her, and they are pushing for her to find a home as well. ODESSA adores leaping to the top of the cages to observe cleaning, and literally spends 1/2 hour there, critiquing methods and overseeing the other cats.
She is not the most social with other cats but appreciates stroking from the humans, and would be a wonderful cat to be your one and only. If you understand calicos, you will understand that she is quite the character, and would like to add interest to your home. She has recently recovered from an ulcer on my right eye, it is fully healed but I do have some limited vision in the eye. Fully vaccinated, spayed, tested FELV/ Fiv negative and am microchipped. Visit and adopt at Petsmart during their adoption center hours, 9 to 5. Make Odessa’s day!
