This little guy is Griffin, a chihuahua/schnauzer mix, and he is on the lookout for a home that will help him complete his healing after suffering  trauma in his life. This two-year-old is currently with a family willing to patiently search for just the right home for him. He is housetrained, neutered, and about twelve pounds. He lives with cats and other dogs, as well as older kids. His new home ideally will be retired folks who are active. He likes to play fetch, run, and play. But he likes to chill as well. He’s not a yippie dog, and not hyperactive at all. His tragic past has left him “guarded,” but once he realizes new people are  okay, they will be accepted. It may take more than one meeting for Griffin to be comfortable meeting a family before he goes to a new home. We ask that you start with an application to adopt: www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org.
