Buck and his brother Bear have recovered from their nasty bout of parvovirus, and are considering applications for adoption now. Just over four months old, they are lab/pointer mixes we are told, and we can believe it because their feet are fully webbed. While the boys enjoy time together, we want them adopted separately so each one can “blossom” and personalities will really shine. Buck is larger in build, more laid-back, and very observant. Bear is eager to be a lap dog, and wants to be with a human 24/7. He is more likely to be the one exploring and getting into things he shouldn’t. Recommended would be families with children over the age of five who handle puppies jumping on them without crying or screaming. (Same goes for adults.) Lab puppies don’t grow up until they are about eight years old. It’s an important consideration when you take one home! Reply to Adopt: www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org
