Shar Pei / Beagle / Mixed (short coat) : : Male : : Adult : : Medium
It is hard on dogs when they are given up because their humans have health issues, and of course, equally as hard when the human has no place to go to live after spending months hanging out with a best furry friend. This has been the situation for Bandit, but he was hit hard both ways....he is trying hard to adapt and fit in, and we are helping him the best we can. He is a wiry little guy, and we just learned that he has a special birthday so he can have parties when his new family takes him home! (We all love birthday celebrations with our dog families!) He loves to put his nose to the ground, beagle-like, and then he likes to mark on all kinds of things as a follow-up to the dogs prior to him. He would love to know the routine at the shelter a little better, so he can appropriately be housetrained. He introduced himself to a female dog, and was most appropriate, and he sent us mixed messages about cats. We are guessing he has not had any previous experiences with cats, but we think he would be amenable to living with one who showed no fear. Are you ready for some wrinkly-faced loving?
