Update from foster mom: Sweet Valentine got the all clear from the Vet today and is ready for her forever home. She has the sweetest personality and is super smart. After only one week she has made huge progress on her house training and is sleeping through the night in her crate. She enjoys our daily walks and walks great on the leash. She understands sit and waits patiently for her treat. She meets every person with a wagging tail. She had a great time playing with our friends kids and the neighbor dogs, big and small. She also loves to cuddle! She is young so will need continued reinforcement but she is definitely ready to learn and ready to please. If you are looking for an amazing lab mix with lots of love to give, she could be the one. - - - Update, Feb. 17 5 pm: Valentine is now vocalizing her wish to eat! We are thrilled she has an appetite, and her kidney values are normal again! She tested light positive for parvovirus when she first arrived, but you’d never know it now. The news is so exciting—but we are still guardedly optimistic since we don’t know what will happen when Valentine’s IV fluids are discontinued. We have been so encouraged by the support, prayers, and comments from our readers—thanks for your love!
