We are pretty sure we see Great Dane/lab in this handsome boy! He is 80 pounds of loving, neutered, two years old. He does a beautiful sit, and loves to run—full of energy, and of course, that is one of the reasons given by his human for signing him over. We are concerned that he keeps his left front paw raised as if it’s in pain. We were told he had toes amputated, so are very concerned that something else is going on there causing him distress. His name is Bear—“Big Black Bear” is also a good name for him! He is well socialized and well fed, not lacking for food. A good boy! Let’s try to find him a home quickly! He is beautifully housetrained. He rode in the car with another, smaller-sized, dog, and appeared to have no issues. We've not tried him with cats yet, and feel he would be fine with older kids, and probably younger ones, with the potential to knock them flat on their little keisters if he got crazy excited around them.
