Paddy, is the neighborhood dog from Plum Branch Road. Paddy hates walking on a leash but he will do it if required. Once he gets outside he just wants to lay down and rest. One of the commenters noted that he felt Paddy had probably been hit by a car at some point, and after watching him walk, we agree that that has probably happened in the past. Paddy was positive for both Lyme disease and erlichiosis and we started him on Doxycycline under the vet’s guidance. As often observed, within 24 hours of starting these meds, Paddy was up and moving around, and even wagging his tail! We feel he is ready to make the move to a foster home and are looking over applications at this time. Thank you for your patience and for your wonderful input regarding Paddy!
