Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (medium coat) : : Female : : Adult : : Large
Lady is doing a fantastic job of fitting in to the shelter after being used as a breeding dog at her previous home. We are thrilled that we can help her find a new life where she will be appreciated for her love and devotion rather than the puppies she can produce. Lady is a social girl, and is housetrained. She has been nervous about all the other dogs barking at her but she is learning! She does appreciate the volunteers who come through and spend time with her, and she is fine with all the other dogs walking back-and-forth in front of her kennel. She is a beautiful girl, and draws comfort from the presence of her two housemates also surrendered to the shelter at the same time. Lady handles leash walking just fine, and we are glad she is part of our family! We don’t know if she’s been around children or cats, but we know she’s great with other dogs. If you’re interested in adopting please start here: Friendsofcampbellcounty.org where you can find an application under the animals heading. No invisible fences for this girl, please. Our process begins with an application, found on our website, www.friendsofcampbellcounty.org. Once your application has been received, a volunteer will call the references you list and then will contact you.
